Why indeed would someone want to read anything about Lyme? If you are a caretaker or friend close to someone with Lyme, it is clear why: because you try so hard to understand what your loved one is going through and understand why the system isn't helping them. But why would you want to read a book about Lyme, if the topic does not seem relevant to you? There is so much else that demands your attention, isn't there?
